Hello and welcome to omniscientbeing.com,

I'm Mik Muhlen, an illustrator and graphic designer currently living and working in Luxembourg. I graduated from a BA Illustration course at the Arts Institute in Bournemouth (now AUCB) in 2007.
I try to capture instants in my work, making it tell some sort of story, something that had a beginning and that could be continued. As a result my work is probably more grounded in concepts and ideas than style. I like to use different techniques, even though the final result of my work will usually have some sort of digitally created or altered element in it. I've had the opportunity to work with a very varied range of clients, some of which you can find below.

MAY 2010 It's been a month again hasn't it. The good news is I'm kept busy with work, hence the lack of updates. Some really interesting projects that you'll see over the coming months. To keep you busy in the meantime, I've posted Eat my dust in the illustration gallery. Retrofuturism in all its 80's inspired, shiny glory !
