This set of 3 illustrations was commissioned by Luxembourgish agency Vidalegloesener, as a limited edition series of beer bottles for their client Bofferding. The project was done with 2 other luxembourgish illustrators, Sumo and Roger Leiner.
The 3 illustrations represent the 3 different winners of the Tour de France, namely the best climber (white/red dots), best sprinter (green) and the "maillot jaune" (yellow). Of course, I thought the best way to represent them would be with various monsters and creatures. Out of those three, my yeti was picked for the bottle design and for the accompanying advertising campaign.
The bottles were on sale for a limited period, and each the designers' 3 illustrations were auctioned off as numbered prints, with the proceeds going to the Kim Kirchen foundation.
