Logo and catalogue design for the Taiwan pavillion at the Venice Art Biennale.
Following the project done for the taiwanese artist Hong-Kai Wang for "Music While You Work" at the Casino Luxembourg, I was asked by the Taipei Fine Arts Museum to create the logo and catalogue for the Taiwan pavilion at the 2011 Venice Art Biennale. We decided to go with a design that played with the idea of how "the heard" and "the unheard" interact as this kept in line with the exhibition theme.
The catalogue kept the same color-scheme as the logo. The idea was to design it with "magazine-layout" -like (hello, made-up words) elements. A chinese text version was done by the museum's internal designer Hu Juohan, who also readapted the design for the invitations, posters and other promotional material.
